Grafton Aged Care Home - About Us
Grafton Aged Care Home is a privately owned 83 bed,  High Care only aged care facility, managed by a Board of Directors. Located in a most
picturesque part of North Eastern NSW we are uniquely positioned high up on a flood free hill.   There are  unsurpassed views overlooking
rural and town landscapes and more importantly, the magnificent Clarence River.
The facility works in close liaison with, not only the Clarence Valley Aged Care Assessment Team, but all of the local ‘low care’
facilities and community care services to ensure that whenever possible we are able to support the needs of any client unable to manage in their current
circumstances. For residents currently in care in any other facilities at other localities we are willing where possible to enable a timely transfer to our facility.
The floor plan of Grafton Aged Care Home is separated into 6 main accommodation wings with single ,double and triple rooms available. There is a 6 bed
wanderer's area with access to all other area's of the home including lounge and dining rooms, veranda's and gardens   for socialising and activities.
Located in the 14 bed West Wing is a designated Palliative Room with options for family members to stay overnight if they wish. These rooms have access
onto a veranda that overlooks the river. Each of the other wings have their own lounge areas however, through the day residents have the option to spend
their time in any location within the facility that they wish.
Grafton Aged Care Home fosters an attitude towards our residents and their loved ones akin to joining one large extended family.  This committment is
central to our ongoing efforts to maintain our community reputation, as a facility where a “home like” environment with high quality individualised care and
great food make all the difference.
